Hi and welcome to the newly revamped Rainbow Services website!!

Its always a bit of a challenge to keep things up to date and relevant to what’s going on in the local and wider Essex voluntary and community sector, as the targets and agenda change so frequently!

We would really like to get feedback from you as to what you would like to see on the site and info you expect to find. Knowing that the site is user friendly and easy to read are very important features to us. Have a look through and get back to us with any ideas and/or suggestions about how we can make more links with other organisations or include more information which is of use to you and your group.

Our working for change emphasis is still very much a feature of the way we do things and seemingly even more important in these days of serious front line service reviews. We need to find better ways of working together and for sharing the ever more scarce resources so that will be the emphasis for the coming months. Again any ideas to progress this do please get in touch.

Rainbow Services works for change to alleviate the effects of disadvantage, deprivation and social exclusion through imaginative projects that support, enable and develop people and organisations, and which stimulate beneficial change in the local community.

Statement of Values

Rainbow Services aims to alleviate poverty, disadvantage and social exclusion by providing quality services. Where appropriate we will undertake research to identify unmet need within our community and wherever possible we will encourage community development through the provision of accessible and affordable services.
